The value you deliver as a coach comes primarily from good listening. Allow clients to uncover their own barriers and truths. Listen intently and ask thought-provoking questions. Seek coaching yourself to become a better coach. If a client calls a square a circle, don’t contradict, but instead ask why he or she thinks so.
